BLANCHE RICH
Blanche (Black) Rich, 85, of Vineland passed away after an extended illness on Wednesday, March 9, 2011, at home surrounded by her family.
Blanche was born in Vineland to William and Angelina (Badaracca) Black, where she remained a lifelong resident. Blanche graduated from Vineland High School in 1942, where she was a drum majorette. In 1942, she married her husband Bill and raised her family. She loved gardening, golfing and especially had a love for boating, fishing and crabbing.
She is survived by husband of 62 years, Bill Rich of Vineland; her daughter and husband, Ruth and Chuck Stenberg; four grandchildren, William Rich, Sgt. Erik Stenberg, Amy Stenberg and Lauren Stenberg.
Blanche is predeceased by her sons, William Rich, 2003 and John Rich, 2010.
A funeral home visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, followed by a funeral liturgy at 11 a.m. from Rone Funeral Service, 1110 E. Chestnut Ave., Vineland.
Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Vineland.
