Amanda Frances Tipton Hughes of Tallassee, Tenn., born September 7, 1928, went to rest with our Father, Saturday, March 30, 2013, at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a remarkable woman who always worked hard at doing what was right, no matter how rocky the path. She is greatly cherished and will be remembered always. She left her impression on many. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifton Jerry Hughes; parents, John and Laura Cable Tipton; children, Sammy, Tammie, and Tim; baby, Charles; grandson, Dustin Hughes; one brother and 5 sisters. Survivors include her children, Alice McKean, Jerry Hughes, Kay Bradburn, Avery Hughes and Darlene Mullen; grandchildren, Connie Cable, Allen Bradburn, Jim Bradburn, Scotty Hughes, Brandon Hughes, Amanda Barley, Cassie Trometer, Travis Hughes, Nathan Hughes, Sarina Hughes, Destiny Hughes; great grandchildren, Devin Burnett, Brittany Gibson, Savannah Bradburn, Caleb Bradburn, Dustin Hughes and Asa Bradburn and special friends, Larwence and Bonnie Davis, Jauanita Lawson, Harvey Tipton and Charles Williams. Funeral service will be held 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 2, 2013, at Miller Funeral Home Magnolia Chapel, Rev. Tyson Matoyofficiating.
