Phyllis Workman McCoig, 69, died March 15, 2011.
There was a graveside service held March 18, at Westfield Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, Cheraw.
Mrs. McCoig was born Dec. 27, 1941, in Twilight, West VA, daughter of the late Alvia and Vivian Workman. She was a retired employee of Champion International in Olmsted Falls, Ohio. Mrs. McCoig was a member of Westfield Creek Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Phyllis was also preceded in death by a son, Dwayne McCoig, and her daughter, Renee McCoig.
Phyllis is survived by her beloved husband of 50 years, Ronald G. McCoig ,of the home, son, Russell McCoig of Chesterfield; four grandchildren, Debbie McCoig, Vanessa (Michael) Zemba, Ronald O'Neal McCoig, and Elisha McCoig; one great grandson,
Connor Dwayne McCoig; brother, Harold Workman of West VA; and sister, Sandra Agusta of West VA.
Memorials may be made in memory of Mrs. McCoig to the Westfield Creek Baptist Church, 316 Westfield Church Road, Cheraw, S.C., 29520.
