Stewart Newell, 83, died yesterday afternoon at the home of his niece, Mrs. Carl Siglin, Noxen.
A native of Stroudsburg, he had resided in Noxen for the past 13 years.
He leaves four brothers, Eugene, Parkersburg, W. Va.; Theodore, Walton, N. Y.; Percy, Tunkhannock, and John, Noxen.
The funeral will be held Monday at 2 from the Siglin home with Rev. Louis Rogers of St. Luke's Lutheran Church officiating. Interment in Orcutt Cemetery, Noxen.
