Son of Anthony Cyphert and Mary Ringle.


(Clarion Democrat 3/14/1895) J. J. Cyphert, one of our oldest residents, died Saturday evening last, and his remains were interred in the St. Nicholas cemetery Tuesday. Deceased was much respected by those who knew him. He leaves a large circle of friends to mourn his death. (Limestone Correspondence)

(Clarion Democrat 3/17/1895) The death of John J. Cyphert, an old and highly respected citizen, occurred at his home in Limestone township, on Saturday last. Deceased leaves a family of grown children, among whom is A. R. Cyphert, of this place, as well as a large circle of relatives and friends to mourn their loss.
