Father of John was William Adair. Unknown mother.
John married Margaret Clark in 1828 in Somerset County, Pennsylvania, USA. They had six children - five daughters and one son.
John's occupation was a Carpenter.
John's wife died first and then he lived with his daughter Lettia. It is assumed that he is buried where his daughter is buried but no headstone has been found and the existing records of 1930 do not show his burial. Deaths long before 1930 apparently are not listed so if no headstones are found - records don't exist? There are about a dozen John Adairs in Tennessee. I have connected 5 of his 6 children to him and his wife.
