Jean Carolyn Ecklar Cooper,
74 of Harrison Co., died Wednesday March 9, 2011 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center.
She was born September 13, 1936 in Harrison Co., KY a daughter of the late Homer and Katie Hill Ecklar.
Mrs. Cooper was a member of the Robinson Christian Church and had worked as a babysitter, at 3M and Bluegrass Industry.
A brother Willard Ecklar preceded her in death.
Survivors include her husband Charles Thomas Cooper, 2 daughters Terri (John) Vest and Kelly (Brian) Hill all of Harrison Co., a sister Norma Houston, Cynthiana, her granddaughter Carolyn (Timothy) Lewis and her great grandson Xavien Lewis.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Saturday March 12, 2011 at the Drake-Whaley-McCarty Funeral Home officiated by Bro. Benny Northcutt and Rev. Quentin McNabb. Burial will follow the service in the Battle Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5-8 PM Friday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Robinson Christian Church or Harrison Co. Relay for Life.
