A memorial service will be held Friday, March 11, 2011, in Russellville Park, Portland, for Luella Blankenship who died March 4, 2011, at age 86. Born March 22, 1924, in Macksville, Kan., Luella married John Blankenship in 1945 in Portland. She worked as a bookkeeper for many years. Survivors include a daughter; a son; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She is interred next to her husband, John, in Willamette National Cemetery. Floral tributes may be sent to Russellville Park.
