Statesboro - Mrs. Marie F. Lee, 73, died Friday at the Bulloch Memorial Hospital after a short illness. She was a native of Bulloch County and had lived in Statesboro all her life.
Surviving are her husband, Dewey Lee of Statesboro; six sons, Wilbur L., Carl A., Joe C., Paul F. and Bunny Deal, all of Statesboro and Dan L. Deal of Brooklet; four daughters, Mrs. D.B. Lewis of Rincon, Mrs. Donal Taylor of Barnwell, S.C., and Mrs. Dean Lewis and Mrs. Raybon Anderson, both of Statesboro; a stepson, Bob Lee of Charleston, S.C.; a sister, Mrs. Jones Lane of Statesboro; a brother, George Franklin of Statesboro; 34 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 4:30 p.m. today at the Statesboro Primitive Baptist Church with burial in Eastside Cemetery in Statesboro. Smith-Tillman Mortuary of Statesboro is in charge.
