Donald F. Petitgoue, 92, of Galena, died Nov 16, 1991, at the Elizabeth Nursing Home.
He was born Jan 30, 1899 in Rice Township, the son of Desire and Margaret Creighton Petitgoue. He married Helen M. Beadle in 1933 at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Galena.
He farmed in early life, but spent most of his life working in mines.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. John (Carol) Dotzel of Stillman Valley; one son, Jerry Petitgoue of Cuba City, Wis.; one brother, Vince, of Sterling; two sisters, Mrs. Carol Rose England of Canton and Mary Jensen of Clinton, Iowa; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, two sisters and three brothers.
Services were held Nov. 19, 1991 at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Galena, with burial in St. Michael's cemetery.
Pallbearers were Thomas (Pat) Beadle, Mike Sproule, Wayne Wienan, John Dotzel, Mark Petitgoue and Ryan Petitgoue.
The Furlong Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
