Rebecca Sue Benson, 57, Hot Springs, Arkansas, went to be with her Lord Friday, February 18, 2011. She was born March 1, 1953, at Warren Air Force Base, Wyoming. She was an Air Force veteran, and a member of Trinity Church.
Her father John H. Birmingham, and brother Timothy Birmingham preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband Larry Benson, Hot Springs; son Richard Benson and his wife Sarah, Conway, Arkansas; mother Audra M. Benson, Hot Springs; brother John Birmingham, Hot Springs; sister JoAnne Lephiew, Little Rock; five grandchildren Christopher, Katherine, Kalynne, Josephine, and Evangeline Benson, all of Conway, Arkansas.
Visitation is 5:00 pm to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home. Funeral services are 1:00 pm Wednesday, Caruth-Hale Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Bob Thornton and Pastor Terry Holstine officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
