Mrs. Philip Fader died at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Rost, in this city Saturday morning at 3:15, after an extended illness of nearly two years with consumption. She was 26 years, 5 months and 14 days of age at the time of her death and had resided for several years at Lakefield, Minn. A loving husband and one child three years of age are left to mourn her early demise. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon and a large concourse of friends followed the remains to their last resting place. The Woodmen and Royal Neighbor Lodges, of which the deceased and Mr. Fader were members, turned out in a body and attended the funeral. (Estherville Democrat, Estherville, Iowa; November 15, 1899)

The funeral occurred Sunday afternoon and the services were in charge of the Royal Neighbors, of which order she was a member. Mrs. Fader was a sister of Mrs. Ed. Ketchum and Mrs. A. E. Ammon.
