Mrs. Nellie Fisher Brown, 82, Died Here Tuesday; The Funeral Is Today

Mrs. Nellie Fisher Brown, aged 82, died here at the Gibson Hospital at 5:454 o'clock Tuesday morning, June 24, 1958. She had been a patient there since June 6. She was born Sept. 3, 1875, in Newark, Mo., a daughter of Andrew and Laura Fresh Fisher. She was a granddaughter of John Fresh of Newark, the first white settler in Knox county and the first sheriff.

She was a member of the Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are three brothers: John H. Fisher of Edina, A. M. Fisher of Chowchilla, Calif., and Fred K. Fisher of Edina, also three nieces and a nephew.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her late husband, Dr. Ed. S. Brown, in 1940, and a brother and a sister.

The body was taken to the Hudson Funeral Home, where services will be held at 2 o'clock this, Thursday, afternoon, June 26, with the Rev. Allen L. Vancil officiating. Burial will be in the Linville Cemetery.
