Robert D. Kring, 82, passed away Monday, Feb. 28, 2011, in Fort Worth. Texas.
Bob was born June 21, !926, in South Bend, Indiana, to Frederick and Helen (Miller) Kring, of South Bend. Ind.
On June 3, 1957,in Fort Worth, TX., he married Lillian L, Edmunson, of Fort Worth, born Feb. 22, 1921, died Jan. 3, 2005.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frederick and Helen (Miller) Kring, Wife Louise Kring, of Fort Worth; 3 brothers, Frederick Jr., of Fort Worth, James of South Bend, and Wayne, of Peru, Ind.; a sister, Lois (Dale) Redman of La Paz, Ind..
Survivors; sons Ray, Steve, and Bruce; brothers Chuck, of New Carlisle, Ind.,and Michael, of Mishawaka, Ind.; a sister, Maydeen (Albert) Laureys, of New Carlisle; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Bob was retired from Ben Hogan Golf Club Co. of Fort Worth. He loved camping and pulling his fifth-wheel RV on the open road.
Bob served in the Army at the end of W.W.II, and when the Korean war broke out, he enlisted in the Matine Corps, spending most of his time in combat.
Bob was be laid to rest in Emerald Hills Memorial Park, Kennedale, Texas, beside his wife.
