Lola Aufrance, age 86, of Alliance, died at 5:30 a.m. Saturday, March 5, 2011 in Alliance, Oh.

She was born in Alliance on February 6, 1925 to Frank and Della (Holloway) Binkley.

Lola was a homemaker and active in the Alliance Friends Church where she was dedicated to world missions and was a Sunday School teacher for 37 years.

Survivors include her children Peggy (Lyle) Whiteman of Gate, OK, David (Cindy) Aufrance of Hong Kong, Carol (Allen) Richardson of Cuyahoga Falls, and Jean (Dan) Hanny of North Canton; grandchildren Danny (Raylea) Whiteman, Jeff (Lisa) Whiteman, Mark (Nancy) Whiteman, Rebecca (Ace) Trask, Joshua Aufrance, Allen (Megan) Richardson, David (Bethany) Richardson, Kara (Carl) Olson, Kate, and Kindsey Hanny; and 11 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Glenn Arland Aufrance, whom she married March 20, 1948, and who died Sept. 14, 2006.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at the Alliance Friends Church with Pastor Rick Sams officiating. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Monday at the Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday. Interment will be at Fairmount Memorial Park.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Evangelical Friends Church-Eastern Region Missions, 5350 Broadmore Circle, Canton, OH 44707.
