New Albany - Ora Lee Pannell, 78 died Sunday, February 4, 1996, at the Baptist Memorial Hospital Union County. She was born in Union County December 18, 1917, to the late Davis and Gertrude Thomas. She was retired from Stratford Manufacturing Company, and a member of the Locust Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death also by a brother, Andrew Thomas, and a sister Fannie Lou Ashby.
Services were at 2P.M. Tuesday February 6 at Locust Grove Baptist Church with Bro. Estus Pirkle, Bro Robert Vandiver, Bro. Earl Farley, Greg Garrison and Victor Garrison officiating. Bural was in the Locust Grove Cemetery. United Funeral Service was in Charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include her husband, Paul Pannell of New Albany; one daughter, Paul Lee Garrison and her husband Norris of New Albany; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Steve Garrison, Jonathan Garrison, Tony Vandiver, James Ray Roberts, Bradley Roberts and Elton Roberts.
