Arch V Nuttall 78, 2102 Maple St., died at 9 a.m. CST Friday at his home. He was retired from Marathon Oil Co., where he worked as district gauger. A former resident of Bridgeport, he was a member of the Bridge First Christian Church. Born on Oct.22,1905 in Crawford County, he was the son of Carl and Della McClure Nuttall. Survivors include his wife, Eva Deckard Nuttall; two daughters, Mrs.Jim (Barbara) Mitchell of Lawrenceville and Mrs.Gayle (Betty) Inboden of Oblong; a son, Jim of Crete; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. His funeral will be at 11 a.m. CST Monday at the Nichols-Smith Funeral Home with the Rev. Don Renner officiation. Burial will be in Cresthaven Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. CST today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given to a preferred charity.
