Youngster Succumbs Two Weeks After Falling Into Hot Water in Washtub.
Burns received last week when he fell backward into a tub of water, resulted today in the death of Edward George Swann, four years old. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Swann, who live at Maywood and Maryland avenues. The mother was using the water when washing clothing. The boy was playing about and when moving backward, stumbled on the tub and fell into the water. His mother rescued him almost immediately, but the burns were serious and complications set in.
Mr. Swann is a cement worker.
