Leslie F. (Bunny) Burns, 66, 913 Madison Ave., died in Melburn, Fla., Monday morning. He and his wife, Gladys, have been in Florida since January. He had been ill for two weeks.

He was born March 22, 1892 in Lincoln, Neb., and had lived in Lima 14 years.

He retired one year ago from Westinghouse.

He is a World War I veteran, and is past commander of the American Legion Nebraska Post. He is a member of the William Paul Garrage post 96 in Lima.

He is survived by his wife; one son, Robert L. Burns of Whittaker, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Russell Williams of 570 W. Spring, and Mrs. Warren Westbeld of 671 St. Clair; two brothers, Arthur of Encino, Calif., and Elwood of Dunbar, Neb.; two sisters, Mrs. Genevieve Patty of Tucson, Ariz., and Mrs. Nita Patty of Wichita, Kan., and eight grandchildren.

The body will arrive in Lima Thursday morning and will remain at Lewis Funeral Home where friends may call Thursday afternoon.

Services will be held in Lewis Memorial Chapel Saturday at 2 p.m. with Rev. E. J. Penhorwood officiating.

Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. American Legion Post 96 will hold military rites.
