Former DuBois Woman Dies at Fayette City
Mrs. Mary Davie Aldous, former resident of DuBois, died at her home in Fayette City, Pa., Tuesday night at 10 o'clock following an illness of six months' duration. Death was due to complications.
The deceased was born in Roseville, Pa., May 4, 1878, daughter of the late Robert and Martha Davie, coming to DuBois when very young and lived here until twenty-five years ago when she left for Fayette City, where she has since resided.
Surviving her are her husband, Daniel Aldous; one daughter, Mrs. Stine Miller, of Charleroi, Pa.; three sons, Robert and Donald, of Fayette City, and Richard, at home; one brother, Alec Davie, of Pittsburgh; three sisters, Mrs. Rebecca McGuire, of Ebenezer, N.Y.; Mrs. C. Dungey and Mrs. Martha Woodman, of DuBois.
The remains will be brought to this city Friday where short funeral services will be held at the grave at Rumbarger cemetery.
