| Birth: | Jan. 13, 1855 Montgomery County Texas, USA | | Death: | Jul. 17, 1929 San Antonio Bexar County Texas, USA |  Susanna Arabella Griffith was the second child born to John Maynard Griffith and Angelina Elizabeth Dickinson, the "Babe of the Alamo." She married Frederick Wilhelm Sterling in 1893 in Pima County, Arizona. The couple live in California until his death about 1906. Shortly after, "Susie" moved to Houston, Texas where she lived for several years. She then moved to Austin and lived with her brother Almeron Dickinson Griffith and his wife Jesse. She was visiting her niece Sarah Ann (Sallie) Holmes Barrera in San Antonio when she died suddenly on 17 July, 1929. Her body was brought back Austin where she was buried in the same plot as her brother and sister-in-law in Austin Memorial Park.
