"The Chillicothe Constitution-Tribune", March 7, 1988: Emma Evaline Culbertson, 87, died Sunday, March 6, at her home in Hale. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Full Gospel Church east of Avalon. Burial will be in the Hale Cemetery. Friends may call after noon Tuesday at the Norman-Wagy-Singer Funeral Home.
She was born October 5, 1900, the daughter of Robert A. and Ada Plunkett Culbertson. Miss Culbertson attended schools in Carroll County and lived in Hale throughout her lifetime. She was a member of the Grace Club of Hale and the Full Gospel Church of Avalon.
She is survived by a brother, Robert of Hale and a sister, Hattie Newton of Bosworth. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and four sisters. The family requests that memorials be made to the church.
