Funeral services for Mrs. Hattie R Stacey, 89, who died in a Palatka hospital Friday afternoon, were held at 2p.m. yesterday in the Peniel Baptist Church with Rev, James Howell and Rev J.D. Williams officiating. Burial was the Peniel Cemetery.
She had been a lifelong resident of Putnam County and was a member of the Peniel Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, P.E. Stacey of Winter Park and A.L. Stacey of Vero Beach; four daughters, Mrs Viola Gay of Vero Beach and Mrs. Iva Simmons, Mrs Stella Barber and Mrs. Louise Brown of Palatka; a sister Mrs. Ada Motes of Palatka; 33 grandchildren; and 56 great grandchildren.
Johnson-Davis Funeral Home was in Charge.
