Daughter of Susan J. (sic) Topliff and Chester H. White. Following Susan's death, Chester married Catharine Sackett (nee Eldredge), widow of John Z. Sackett, Catharine and John Sackett are the parents of Robert Wait Sackett, which means that Emma married her step-brother.


The birth date on the grave marker is incorrect. Per her death record, she was born 12 Mar 1850 in Michigan. That 1850 date aligns well with her 1850 census age of 2 months.
