d/o Noah & Naomi (Willard) House, wife of Ralph Franklin Greenwood and Kenneth Ross, Mother of Ralph Franklin Greenwood Jr., John Greenwood, Diane (Greenwood) Hankins and Josephine (Greenwood) Plaster) and sister to Glenn and Robert.
Peggy Louise Ross, Niangua, daughter of Noah and Naomi (Willard) House, was born Oct. 8, 1939 and died Jan. 20, 2011. At the time of her passing she was 71 years of age.
Peggy served as alderman and was mayor of Niangua at one time. She also started the Niangua Garden Club.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Noah and Naomi House; two brothers, Glen and Bob House of Idaho; and her first husband Ralph Franklin Greenwood.
Survivors include her husband Kenneth of the home, two sons; Ralph Franklin Greenwood, Jr., and John Greenwood, two daughters; Diane Hankins and Josephine Plaster, nine grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
Services were held at 1 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 23, 2011 at Day Funeral Home, Marshfield with Nicholas Inman officiating. Visitation was held from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 22, 2011 in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Howell Memorial Park Cemetery, Pomona.
