Charles Wesley Clark, 89, died May 5, 2003, of natural causes in Klamath Falls.
Mr. Clark was born Nov. 8, 1913, in Declo, Idaho, to Frank Lucias and Teresa Bell (Anderson) Clark.
He was also raised and educated in Declo, graduating from Declo High School before graduating from Utah State University with a degree in accounting in 1937.
He married Annetta Marie Johnson on Sept. 21, 1936, in Yakima, Wash.
They moved in 1937 to Klamath Falls, where he worked for Lou Arens DeSoto Plymouth car dealership prior to owning and operating Clark Motor Co., the dealership for Kaiser-Frazer cars.
He next owned and operated Big Y Market until retiring in February 1976.
Mr. Clark was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, for which he served in many leadership capacities. He was bishop of two Klamath Falls wards and served for a number of years on the stake high council. He and his wife also served for many years as ordinance workers in Seattle and Portland temples.
He enjoyed camping with his family, fishing, visiting family members, woodcutting, and flying.
Survivors include his wife Annetta Marie Clark of Klamath Falls; sons and daughters-in-law Robert W. and Sonya Clark of Hughson, Calif., and Mark and Karen Clark of Klamath Falls; daughters and sons-in-law Diane and Lloyd Case of Ellicott City, Md., and Sandra and George Gillen and Rae and Bill Skillington of Klamath Falls; 23 grandchildren; and 37 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Ann, two brothers, three sisters and one great-granddaughter.
