Abner Rowan (Roan) Zachry , 65 , died Friday night at the local hospital in Waycross after a short illness.
A native of Putnam County, Ga. and a son to the late Capt. Abner Roan Zachry and Eugenia Alexander Lyle Zachry.
He came to Ware County in the early 1925 from Madison, Georgia with his wife, the former Dio Alliston of Morgan County, Ga.
