Her father-in-laws Bible states that she was born "near Roanoe, VA, in Montgomery County." Her daughter Myrza stated on her sister Edna's death certificate that their mother was born in Giles County, VA.

Her birth record shows she was born on 10 Oct 1856 in Mercer County, Virginia, which became West Virginia in 1861.

Andrew and Mollie had 14 children. Walter, born 5 Jan 1896 in Kenova, WV, and Herbert, born 21 Jul 1899 in Beckley, WV, were stillborn. Marguerite lived three months, born 19 June 1898 in Russell, KY - died 26 Sep 1898 in Beckley. Their births and death are recorded in the family Bible.

Mrs Andrew Williams died Tuesday afternoon at her home in Huntington after a severe illness caused by cancer of the stomach. Mrs Williams had been in bad health for some time, and the sad end came as no surprise to her relatives and friends. Mrs Williams is survived by her husband and nine children, besides a large number of other relatives. Interment took place in Huntington Wednesday afternoon.
