Jerusha (1) is a daughter of Timothy Barker (2) and Jerusha Lakin Hobbs (3). On the 23rd day of December in 1857, at the age of sixteen, she became the bride of Atwood F. Smith in Biddeford, York County, Maine. It appears they had at least two children who died before 1865, and then a third child born in 1866 -- Thomas Warren Alonzo Smith (1866-1920).
