Robert DeWitt McDonald, age 58, of 1515 Asthoay Road, died Thursday, Feb. 13, 1958 at a local hospital, after a brief illness. Funeral services will be held in Elliott and Sons Chapel with the Rev. Robert C. Daniel officiating. Burial will be in the West View Cemetery in Augusta.
His wife was Mrs. Chessie Ferrell McDonald.
Survivors also include one daughter, Mrs. Charles F. Bridgers Jr. of Augusta;
step-mother Mrs. C.B. McDonald of Miami;
one brother, Glenn McDonald of Gastonia, N.C.;
and one sister, Mrs. W.S. Larkis of Miami.
Pallbearers will be Ollie Williamson, L L Burkhalter, W E Kennedy, T H Buck, C T Towner, and W T Stewart. Honorary pallbearers include Ed Heath, Julian Roberts, R O Broome, O E Carson, Bill Jones, Gardner Byrd, Bob Byrd, and Harvey Arrington.
