Mrs. Lexi Wells, 86, of Route 1, Crawford, died Tuesday at a Waco hospital from injuries suffered in an Oct. 3 traffic accident near Valley Mills.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church in Valley Mills, Ed James officiating. Burial will be at China Spring Cemetery.
Mrs. Wells was born Oct. 4, 1897 in Parker County. She was a member of First Christian Church and Order of the Eastern Star No. 97.
She was married to Jess Wells in 1920.
Survivors include a son, Elvin C. Wells of Fort Worth; four daughters, Helen Alexander, Mary Hopkins and Ruby Mergele, all of Fort Worth, and Ollie Wales of Woodway; a sister, Ola Middleton of Wichita Falls; a brother, Ted Davenport of Wichita Falls; 12 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
