Mrs. Jesse Crews, 61, died at Memorial Hospital from cancer.
Mrs. Crews was the third member of the family of the late Mr. & Mrs. Edward Dickey to die in the past two months.
She was born in Fairfield, IL June 21, 1907, the daughter of Edward & Bessie Beckel Dickey. In 1927 she was married to Jesse Crews, with two children being born to their union.
She was a member of the First Methodist Church and of the Eastern Star & White Shrine. She was a past worthy high priestess of the Shrine.
Surviving besides her husband is her son, Bill: a daughter, Joyce Pttterger; four brothers, Harry, Newton, Harvey, and William Dickey; six sisters, Mrs. Arthur McNew, Dorothy Wilson, Fay Stoddard, Alice Boyer, Pearl Rae, and Patricia Donhausier.
Services were conducted from the Dixon & Johnson Chapel with burial in the Maple Hill Cemetery.
