Rosa Mae Hensley Cobb, 91, of Wallins, KY passed away Saturday, March 27th, 2010 at the Harlan A.R.H. She was born August 15th, 1918 in Wallins, KY. Rosa was a member of the Wallins Church of God and was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband Oble Cobb. Her parents; Charlie and Nora Cobb. Two children; Sandra Sue Muncy and Donnie Charles Cobb. Also preceding Rosa in death are five sisters and three brothers.
She is survived by seven children; Timmy Cobb of IN, Jackie Cobb of CA, Jerry Cobb and wife Robyn of Rosspoint, KY, Gary Cobb and wife Patricia of Wallins, KY, Retta Hensley and husband Wendell "Tubby" of Wallins, KY, Brenda Cobb of Dothan, AL, and Doris Cobb and husband Keith of GA. Eighteen grandchildren survive including a special granddaughter who was like her own daughter; Shanan Boyles. Two special great-grandsons; Josh and Jordy Boyles. A host of other great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and a special friend; Daisy Burke also survives.
The funeral Service for Rosa has been scheduled for Tuesday, March 30th, 2010 at 1:00 PM at the Wallins Church of God with the Rev. Jimmy Thomas and the Rev. Ronnie Doyle officiating.
The burial will follow the funeral at the Old Creech Cemetery in Wallins, KY with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
The visitation has been scheduled for Monday, March 29th, 2010 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Mount Pleasant Funeral Home.
