Ann Margaret Taylor (nee Cornwell), 90, of Fairfield Township died at home Wednesday afternoon February 9, 2011.

Born in Fairton, she lived at her present address for the last 65 years. She was the daughter of the late Clarence B. and Ann Jane (nee Peploe) Cornwell and the wife of the late Clinton Taylor, who died in 1990.

She attended Bridgeton High School, but left before graduation to work at the Ferracute Machine Company to help support the war efforts during World War II. Acknowledging the value of an education, she proudly completed her GED in 1990.

A homemaker and mother, she was a member of Retail Clerks, Local 1360 where she worked as a clerk in several Bridgeton area grocery stores. She later was employed by the Cumberland County on Aging and worked for the county until 1999 when she retired with 17 years of service.

A member of the First Presbyterian Church in Cedarville, Mrs. Taylor belonged to several women's groups and travel clubs. She loved to travel and shop and took several trips with friends and family in both the US and Canada.

She is survived by her five children, Donald C. Taylor and wife Sally of Millville, Sara A. Glenning and husband Daniel Sr. of Cedarville, Claude L. Taylor and wife Nancy of Bridgeton, Barbara Drummonds and husband Glenn of Sparta, TN and Cliff D. Taylor and wife Denise of Hatboro, PA, nine grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by two daughters-in-law, Shelby Jean Wilson Taylor and Patricia Ann Scafidi Taylor, a son-in-law, Charles R. Weber, three sisters, Esther Murphy, Ruth Simpkins and Alice Wirth and two brothers, Leroy and Clarence Cornwell.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at the Freitag Funeral Home, 137 W. Commerce St., Bridgeton on Tuesday afternoon February 15th at 2 o'clock.

Rev. Bruce Pike of the First Presbyterian Church of Cedarville will officiate.

The burial will take place at Overlook Cemetery in Bridgeton.

Friends will be received at the funeral home Tuesday afternoon from 1 until 2.
