Helen Waynok Zullo, 85, died Thursday, May 24, 2007, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick.

Born in Carteret, NJ to Catherine (Gurniak)and Nicholas Waynok (Waynarowski), she formerly resided in Iselin before moving to Menlo Park Terrace in Metuchen 42 years ago.

She was a bookkeeper for 25 years with various retail chains until retiring in 1975.

She was a communicant of St. Cecilia's R.C. Church, Iselin.

She enjoyed cooking, listening to big-band music and spending quality time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Helen was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 42 years, Ernest, in 1988 and her loving son David E. in 2004, her sisters Marion (Waynok) Benning, and Rosalie (Waynok) Kacharaba, and brothers William Waynok and Adam Waynok.

Surviving are her loving daughter-in-law, Margaret Zullo of Martinsville; two cherished grandchildren, Anthony Zullo and wife, Lisa, of Flemington and Vincent Zullo and wife, Pilar Arguello, of Jersey City; two great-grandchildren, Luciana and Corinna Zullo; a dear sister, Jay Moore of Florida, 7 loving nieces & nephews Ronald V. Lozak, Diane Pennisi, John Kacharaba, Kathy Kacharaba, Jo-Ann (Moore) Simone, Robert Moore, and Linda T. (Moore) Torres, 14 great nieces and nephews, and 22 great-great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will begin at 10:15 a.m. Wednesday with a prayer from Branchburg Funeral Home, 910 U.S. Highway 202 South, Branchburg, followed by an 11 a.m. Funeral Liturgy at St. Bernards R.C. Church, 500 Route 22 East, Bridgewater. Entombment will be at the St. Bernards Cemetery Mausoleum, Bridgewater. Visitation hours are 2 p.m.-4 p.m. and 7 p.m.-9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Institute for Children with Cancer and Blood Disorders, 121 Somerset St., New Brunswick, NJ 08901.
