J. Frank Roberts, 89, of 1900 Alexander, died Tuesday morning in a local hospital.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1 pm in the Wilkirson-Hatch Chapel with Rev. Frank Bartos officiating. Burial will be in China Spring Cemetery.
Mr. Roberts was a native of China Spring and was the oldest living person born there. He attended TCU while it was in Waco and had made his home in Waco since 1918. he was in the cotton brokerage business, retiring about 15 yearts ago.
Survivors are his wife; a daughter, Mrs. James H. (Mary) Coffman of Atherton, Calif., a son, Scott Evans Roberts of Dallas; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
