Margaret Brantley Barham, 84, a Carthage business owner, died Tuesday, Jan. 18, at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson.
Services were at 11 a.m. Thursday at Carthage First Baptist Church with Dr. Eddie Hamilton officiating. Burial was in Harris Cemetery with Wilcox Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
A Leake County native, she was a member of Carthage First Baptist Church. She owned and operated Quality Cleaners for many years.
Survivors include three sons, David Barham, Carthage, Bill Barham, Flowood, and Mike Barham, Slidell, LA; two daughters, Vivian Boyd, Carthage, and Janet Whittington, Madison; a sister, Bennie Smith, Laurel; 11 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were grandsons Matt Boyd, Brad Barham, Ben Barham, Austin Whittington, Nicholas Barham, Jason Barham and Drew Whittington.
Honorary pallbearers were her Sunday School Class and the Men's Class at First Baptist Church.
