Joyce Ann Bidwell, 63, passed away Thursday, February 17, 2011, at her residence.

She was a member of Gospel Lighthouse Baptist Church and was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.

She was preceded in death by her father, Charlie Raines; and brother, Rick Raines, and sister, Ralphine Stewart.

She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Donnie Bidwell; sons, James Michael Stidham, William Scott Rhodes and Burt Cofer; granddaughter, Macayla Rhodes; siblings, Sue Killion, Chuck Raines, Janice Green, Charlene Bullard; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. today in the Strickland Chapel located at 1724 McCallie Ave. (Corner of McCallie Ave. and Hawthorne St.) with Rev. Ron Kuhns and Rev. Lloyd Workman officiating.

Burial will follow in Harrison Cemetery.

Visitation was held on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Chapel.

Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.
