Brooklet - R. Cone Hall, 92, died early Sunday morning at Bulloch County Memorial Hospital after a long illness.
He was a native of Bulloch County and was a retired farmer. He was one of the oldest members of Brooklet First Baptist Church. He was a member of John Belcher Sunday School Class and was the director of the Federal Land Bank for many years. He was a trustee for the Bulloch County School System.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Marguerite Hall of Statesboro; two sons, R. Clifford Hall of Miami, Fla., and Ralph C. Hall of Panama City, Fla.; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held today at 3 p.m. at Brooklet First Baptist Church, with burial in Brooklet City Cemetery. Smith-Tillman Mortuary of Statesboro is in charge.
