She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister in infancy.
Claudette S. Benischek was born November 25, 1939 in Jones County. She was the daughter of Henry and Thalma Dean Benischek.
She graduated from high school at Oxford Junction.
On May 25, 1963 she married James Brown at the United Methodist Church in Manchester.
Claudette worked at Rockwell-Collins for 34 years, retiring in 1995. Claudette was an avid reader, gardener and enjoyed sewing.
