Chloe Fern Stone, 1912-2002 Funeral services for Chloe Fern Stone, 89, of Vienna, formerly of Noble, were held Tuesday, July 23 in Clinkingbeard Funeral Home in Ava with Reverend Dale Beasterfield officiating. Burial was in Loftis Cemetery, Wilhoit, Ozark County, Missouri. Mrs. Stone died Wednesday, July 17, 2002. She was born Oct. 5, 1912, in Noble, the daughter of Tom and Ida (Harley) Naugle. She was the widow of Sam H. Stone. She lived most of her life at Noble. She was a member of the Franklin Grove Baptist Church, Wasola Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary and the Souder Quilting Club. She enjoyed quilting, raising a garden, cooking, reading and playing games, especially dominoes. Mrs. Stone is survived by three daughters, Bernice Golson and her husband, Ernie, of Canton, Texas, Barbara Morgan and her husband, Clyde, of Clarksville, Ark., and Sandra Snodgrass and her husband, Norman, of Vienna; five grandsons; two granddaughters; 13 great-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Helen Naugle of Bixby, Okla.; several nieces and nephews; and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam; her parents; and three brothers, Melvis, Carmen and Orville Naugle.
