Thursday, July 6, 1967

McKINSEY - James A. McKinsey was born June 7, 1896 and departed this life July 2, 1967, at the age of 71 years and 25 days.

He was the only son of James and Phoebe McKinley. He was married to Mary Ellen Penman on July 2, 1916. He is survived by two daughters and two sons, Mrs. Jean Roberts of Allerton, Helen Terrell of Sacramento, Calif., James A. and Joe McKinsey of Des Moines, two daughters-in-law, Norma and Delores of Des Moines, and a son-in-law, Raymond Roberts of Allerton, four grandsons, Danny Terrell of Sacramento, James, David Wayne and Vernon McKinsey of Des Moines.

He was preceded in death by his wife in 1959, his parents, a sister and an infant son.

Services were conducted by the Rev. Paul G. Ellis at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 5, 1967 at the Beardsley-Fielding Funeral Home. Interment was at the Chariton Cemetery.
