Josephine Shuler Baumgardner, age 81 went to be with the Lord on Monday October 27, 2008. She was born in Washington County to the late Grand & Mary Dolinger Shuler and was preceded in death by a son James David Baumgardner, six brothers Dean, Sanders, Jim, Glenn, Robert & Bruce Shuler, four sisters Pearl Tomlinson, Myrtle Barlow, Velma Morefield & Ruth Fisher. Survivors include: One Daughter: Nancy Owens, Chilhowie Two Sons: Jack Baumgardner & Sally, Chilhowie Ron Baumgardner & wife Shirley, Kannapolis, NC Daughter in Law: Edith Baumgardner, Ivanhoe Three Sisters: Violet Tomlinson, Redlion, PA Eva Williams, Atkins Jackie Walker & husband Elmer, Chilhowie Two Sisters in Law: Louella Shuler, Chilhowie Stella Shuler, Chilhowie 8 Grandchildren 11 Great Grandchildren Special friends: Lucille Martin, Linnie Justus, Ruth Teaters, Berthie Catron.

Funeral services will be held at the Bradley's Funeral Chapel Chilhowie with Rev. Jackie Ray Baumgardner officiating. Graveside services will be held at Grosses Creek Cemetery. Bradley's Funeral Chapel, Chilhowie is serving the Baumgardner family.
