Politician. Served as a Delegate to the United States Congress from Idaho Territory (1873-1875, 1885-1887). He was defeated in 1886. Also served as a Member of the Idaho Territorial Council in 1880. Operated a successful stage line and served as warden of the Idaho State Penitentiary.
