Foy was born and spent his life in Blanco, Texas. He was a veteran of WW II where he served in the Army Air Corp as a bombardier on a B-17 in Europe. Over his 87 years he held many jobs; he owned a service station, was a bulldozer operator on the construction of Canyon Dam, and for many years before his retirement was a painter. He enjoyed taking care of his yard and driving his '66 Ford Galaxy.
He is survived by his wonderful wife of 57 years, Joyce; his daughter, Jackie Calhoun of Drippings Springs; his son, Randall of Blanco; and grandchildren, Kevin and Brittany Calhoun, Amanda Benton and Blake West.
Services will be held at Crofts Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 14, 2010
