Revolutionary War Veteran

On November 1st 1834 Thomas Isner made application for a pension on the grounds of service as an Indian spy in the Revolution. His statement says that he was about 76 years old and had been raised and Randolph County. He was a spy during the Revolution under Captain Benjamin Wilson. Went from the Tygart Valley and was stationed at West's Fort for 3 months got no pay nor was he offered any. He was again employed by Captain Wilson for 3 months served on Roaring Creek in that county with his headquarters at Wilson's Fort his claim was rejected.
