Mr. Jordan was born Sept. 25, 1930 in Redtown, Angelina, TX, the son of Henry Pate and Nettie Gladness (Durham) Jordan. He died, Wednesday, March 9, 2004 in a Lufkin hospital. He was payroll supervisor for Texas Foundries and retired following 55 years of employment. He was a past member of the Elks Club. He served his country in the U S Marine Air Corp during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Gospel Church of Jesus Christ in Redtown.
Survivors: wife of 52 years, Billie M. Jordan of Lufkin; son, Henry N. Jordan, Jr. and his partner David C. Faires of Nacogdoches; aunt, Inez Durham of Nacogdoches; a number of cousins, nieces and nephews.
