Birth: 1720, Ireland
Death: 1790
Guilford County
North Carolina, USA

Brother or cousin to Charles Jackson who came to NC. from Ireland. Charles, William and John appeared in Surry Co. about the same time , so they are probably all related. In 1759 Nathan lived in Southeastern Guilford Co., He was overseer of the road from Peter Dicks Mill on Pole Cat creek to the county line. He was often called for jury duty. He could not read or write. His wife is unknown. He had at least two sons, Edward was one, and John or Joseph or both were among his siblings. Edward is my ancestor. Source: Research of Dr. John Duckworth DVM .......Contributor Johnny Wesch # 47193856 added that Nathan married a Nancy Loyals 5/18/1780 in Granville Co., NC.....
