Edwin Lawrence Ladd, Sr., 74, of China Spring died Thursday in a local hospital.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church of China Spring, the Rev. Earl Lanting and the Rev. Paul Smith officiating. Burial will be China Spring Cemetery.
Mr. Ladd was born Sept. 15, 1917, in Bosque County. He lived in the Waco area most of his life and owned and operated Ladd Feed and Seed for more than 30 years. He was a former member of the China Spring Cemetery Association and an inactive deacon of First Baptist Church of China Spring.
He was preceded in death by a son, Edwin Ladd, Jr.
Survivors include his wife, Luella Ladd; two sons, Billy Mitchell Ladd and Homer Lee Ladd, both of China Spring; daguther, Linda Ladd Talbert of Dallas; seven grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
