Youngest son of Duane Francis and Ruby Mae (Spoor) Francis.
Ronnie never married. He helped co-write with his mother the genealogy book "An American Family".
He was employed at Bass Pro Outdoor World as Camping Lead.
He is survived by his mother, Ruby; one brother Dennis and wife LeAnn; and one sister, Jane and husband Ron Martino; one niece and two nephews. Also extended family of aunts, uncles and many cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Duane.

Ronnie E. Francis was born March 11, 1964 in West Plains, MO and passed away February 11, 2011 in Independence, MO, surrounded by family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Duane Francis.
He is survived by his mother, Ruby Francis; his brother Dennis and wife LeAnn Francis of Liberty, MO; and his sister Jane and husband Ron Martino of Blue Springs, MO. He also has two nephews, Jeremy Martino and Ethan Francis, and one niece, Rachel Martino.
Ronnie earned a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture and a Masters of Science in Business Administration from the University of Missouri. He was a recipient of the Dean's list and the G.E. Huggins scholarship. His accomplishments are an officer training instructor for Mizzou 4H; a fundraiser for Ducks Unlimited in 1991 and 1992; and a member of the Red Cross Lifesaving Team.
Ronnie worked at Bass Pro Outdoor World as Camping Lead. He was honored as Associate of the Month in January 2009. No matter where he was working, success followed him, as did the awards he received. He was well respected as a boss and fellow employee.
Ronnie had a large extended family and enjoyed spending time with all of them. Many memories were made playing games and sitting around the dinner table. His wit and wisdom would always keep his family entertained. He enjoyed the simple things in life and lived it to the fullest.
Ronnie was an avid hunter and loved the outdoors. His fish, birds and dogs were his pride and joy. Ronnie loved his friends, but more importantly he loved being a friend and being there for them, as much as they were there for him.
